Harry Styles- Harassment Injunction

One Direction singer Harry Styles at the High Court on the 11th March 2014 obtained, against four paparazzi photographers, a permanent harassment injunction. All four Defendants, the paparazzi, had been identified and ongoing enquiries were being made to identify any other photographers

Harry Styles was granted an injunction in December 2013 against unnamed individuals “Paparazzi AAA & Others” to stop them from pursuing him by car/motor vehicle, placing him under observation, waiting or hanging around within 50 metres of his residence in order to track his movements and/or take photographs of him.

David Sherborne, his Barrister, said his Client did not want a “Privacy Injunction” as he was happy with his fans approaching him in the street and taking photos of him, the action related to the methods used by certain photographers.

The identity of the four individuals were taken from the vehicles they used and other sources. Ongoing enquiries were being made through the DVLA to assist in identifying any others.

Mr Justice Dingemans granted a requested adjournment for Mr David Sherborne to identify others and he confirmed the continuation of the original interim harassment injunction which was against the paparazzi photographers who were unnamed.
